Originally from London Ontario, Nicholas Fournie has lived in Toronto the past two years. He is currently enrolled Arts and Contemporary Studies at Ryerson University specialized in diversity and equity. Deriving aesthetic experience from characters of non-conformity, he sees the individual’s performance of life as the highest form of art. In his photography, forming connection with the subject’s inner self is crucial in capturing their true form of expression, providing the onlooker with a sense of genuine vulnerability. Modeling since 16, and currently represented by Ciotti Models, Nicholas has put his aesthetic philosophy into practice through the embodiment of his character as interpreted by each creative’s vision. Above all, Nicholas is interested in developing a deeper understanding of the human condition by marrying creative work and spiritual practice.
